Various problems had occured between competing establishments in Angeles City. Wet T-Shirt contest were no longer licensed events by Citihall. Kokomoz started a new series of events in 2005. They were called 'Pool Parties'. Basically, they were the same thing like before and nobody really cared. I went to one of these pool shows, but then lost interest in them as quality of participants was decreasing. The fight between bar owners was limiting participants to a certain chain of bars. Girls from competing bars were not admitted. At one time I had a group of bargirls from Makati's Burgos Street bars organized to participate at Kokomoz. They were some of the hottest Filipina showgirls that I had ever seen and more than happy to go to Angeles and have fun, but the owner of Kokomoz, Canadian Dave 'Mo' Fisher declined their application. In an email he explained to me, Manila girls were much more attractive then local girls and they would possibly win, as it happened before. This would diminish the advertising value of events to his own group of bars. I was very disappointed in his decision and marked this event as the last time I would visit his events.

Wet T-Shirt contest are nothing but talent shows. The most attractive girls who work out of bars do get barfined right away ... sometimes for days and weeks in advance. That's the reason why the girls are eager to participate. Prizes are nice, but generosity of gentlemen who are willing to pride themselves of barfining a wet-t-shirt winner is far better paying. You could say, most of the top 5 girls of a popular wet t-shirt event or pool party would be barfined for a month in advance. It was great business for the bars and the girls.

The next Wet-T I remember was happening at Swagman Hotel in Angeles City's Diamond subdivision a couple of weeks later. It was a much better organized event with 70 participants. Because of the large amount of participants and delay it was a rather boring event at first.
